Type
Defines if the text will be a fixed text or text provided by an RSS feed.
Text Properties
Basic text formatting options.
Text/RSS Feeds
Depending on your selected Type, you can have either a custom text ticker or RSS feeds.
Text
Add user-specified text to be shown in the ticker.
RSS Feeds
It's possible to add multiple RSS Feeds that are automatically updated. Follow the RSS Feeds help to personalize the feeds.
Animation Properties
It's possible to control the scrolling speed of the ticker as well as its orientation - horizontal or vertical. In case of vertical orientation, it's also possible to define a pause which will make the ticker stop for the configured duration in each section of the text.
Preview
Shows a preview of how the ticker will behave with the configured options.
Hardware acceleration
When selected, the ticker will use DirectX for rendering. If your system does not support DirectDraw, disable this option.
If your system supports DirectDraw but you don't have DirectX installed, you can download it here.
